Privacy Policy

LottoTV is in-store digital signage. Once a store owner pairs a television using a short pairing code generated in their RetailControl dashboard, the app displays publicly available lottery game information (such as game names, prices, ticket numbers, and odds) on the screen. The app is display-only: it does not collect any personal information from customers or other people who view the screen, has no sign-in or account creation, and does not facilitate the purchase or play of any lottery product.

To operate, the app sends and receives technical information needed to pair the device and keep the display current — for example the pairing/screen code, a device identifier, app version, and basic connection status (a periodic “heartbeat”). This information identifies the screen, not an individual.

Account information. When a store owner or staff member creates an account on the RetailControl platform, we collect information such as name, email address, business/store name, and login credentials.

Store and operational data. To provide loss-prevention and operational monitoring, the platform processes data from a store’s point-of-sale system and on-site cameras (for example transaction records and video clips associated with transactions). This data belongs to the store and is accessible only to that store’s authorized users and our administrators.

Device and technical information. Across our apps and website we may collect device identifiers, IP address, app version, log and diagnostic information, and connection status.

Payment information. Subscriptions are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; Stripe handles card data under its own terms and privacy policy.

• To pair display devices and keep in-store signage current.
• To deliver loss-prevention monitoring and reporting to the store that owns the data.
• To process subscriptions and billing.
• To provide customer support and respond to requests.
• To secure the Services, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the Services:

• Service providers who process data on our behalf — for example cloud hosting, our payment provider (Stripe), and infrastructure vendors — under agreements that limit their use of the data.
• Within a store’s own organization — store-scoped data is available to that store’s authorized users only.
• Legal and safety — when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

We retain account and operational data for as long as an account is active and as needed to provide the Services. Transaction-linked video clips and related records are retained on a rolling schedule based on the store’s subscription and are then deleted automatically. Technical and pairing data for the LottoTV app is retained only as long as a device remains paired.

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls that restrict store data to authorized users, encrypted connections, and server-side authorization checks. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Services are intended for business use and in-store signage and are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). The LottoTV app displays general lottery information and is intended for an adult audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Store owners can manage much of their data directly in the dashboard. To make a request, contact us at the address below; we will respond as required by applicable law.

Our Services rely on third parties such as Stripe (payments) and our cloud hosting provider. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies. Our apps are distributed through the Amazon Appstore and Google Play, whose platforms may collect information under their own policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Services where appropriate.
